Venta has produced air quality products since the 1980s, although consumers in the United States are just beginning to learn of this German company. They are the brand to turn to if you’re in the market for a 2-in-1 system, and in our Venta Air Washer review, we are going to take a quick look at their current collection.

While Venta only has eight systems in their catalog under the airwasher category, those machines are broken down into two separate collections with the Venta 5 and Venta 6 Series systems. There are several features shared between both series, but a considerable difference in how they perform and their price.
Venta 5 Series Airwashers
In the Venta 5 series, there are two types of machines with the Classic and Comfort Plus airwashers. The Classic lineup is the more affordable option, and there are three models to choose from with the LW15, LW25, and LW45.
The Venta LW15 airwasher is a 2-in-1 system that acts as a humidifier and purifier. This machine has a 1.4-gallon water tank, two speeds, and uses a single disc stack. The Venta LW25 is a variant of that system, but with a slightly larger 2-gallon water tank. LW25 has a bit more power with three speeds, a slightly higher decibel range, and a larger disc surface as well.
Venta’s LW45 Classic 2-in-1 system is the largest of the three. It provides double the coverage of the L25 at 800 square feet and sports a high-capacity 3-gallon water tank. It uses two discs, but aside from that, it looks just like the LW15 and LW25. All three of these filter-free systems have an auto-shutoff feature and a low water indicator. They also have excellent 10-year warranties.
The two other machines in this series are the Venta Comfort Plus LW24 and Comfort Plus LW45. While they look similar, these energy-efficient airwashers have digital displays, hydrometers, and hydrostats. This allows you to dial in the humidity level in 5% increments from a range between 30 to 70%. Both have three speeds, but the Comfort Plus LW25 has a 1.6-gallon tank compared to the 2.6-gallon tank on the Venta LW45 Comfort Plus.
Airwashers from the Comfort Plus collection have digital displays to go along with more features and modes. They can also handle larger areas than their counterparts from the Classic line but come with shorter 2-years warranties.
Venta 6 Series Airwashers
While Venta used the same overall design for the Venta 6 Series airwashers, there are some visible differences. Airwashers in this series are all larger and have a built-in touchscreen display. The exception is the Venta LP60 KUUBOID XL, which is an air purifier and in a different class.
The Venta LP KUUBEL XL-T is a variant of that system, but with built-in humidification. It can handle rooms up to 1,020 square feet in size and remove impurities from 480 square feet of air down to 0.07 microns. The next step up would be the LW60T KUUBE L-T Airwasher. It’s rated at 1,650 square feet for humidity and 860 square feet for purification. It’s more effective as well, considering it can remove particulates down to 0.3 microns in size.
If you want the companies top-tier system, that would be the Venta KUBBE XL-T LW62T. This is a large space air washer geared for spaces up to 2,700 square feet. Purification is listed at 1,650 square feet, and it can handle contaminants down to 0.3 microns as well. This airwasher also has a built-in UV-C lamp to keep bacteria and mold from building up in the water tank.
All three of these airwashers have 3.3-gallon water tanks, five speeds, and multiple filters. You can dial in the humidity from 30-70%, and they all work with the company’s Venta mobile app, which opens the door to new features and functionality. Control lock, sleep mode, and a built-in hygrometer are also included on these systems.
Venta Airwasher Reviews
We’re not going to spend a great deal of time here as Venta is an industry leader, and they make machines that are well-regarded by homeowners and reviewers. In fact, we had a hard time finding many negative reviews for their newer systems, which is impressive in comparison to other brands.
Homeowners felt the airwashers were easy to fill, clean, and maintain over time. Performance is strong across the board as well, and even their larger machines are quiet, topping out at around 44 decibels with the Venta 5 Series airwashers. Things are a bit different when you start to dig through reviews for the Venta KUUBE and KUBBEL hybrid systems, however.
Reviews for the company’s premium system take a nosedive in two areas. There aren’t nearly as many reviews for these premium models, and ones from the more popular shopping sites are less than stellar. With that in mind, you’ll want to take those lightly as several are related to pricing or what appears to be random issues.
Venta Airwasher Warranties
Venta has two warranty tiers with their airwashers. Their 2-in-1 machines from the 5 series all have 10-year guarantees, which include the LW15, LW25, and LW45. Their Comfort series is listed at two years, and their premium 6 series systems also have a 2-year guarantee – which is a bit disappointing.
Things are better when it comes to replacement parts and customer service. The company excels in the latter, and we were able to find a wide variety of parts available directly from their site. While some are expensive, they have everything from upper housings and end caps for their Disk Stack to gearboxes and motor assemblies.
Venta Airwasher Pricing and Availability
If you are interested in purchasing an air washer from Venta, there are a number of options at your disposal. You can buy all their current models direct from the company online, but we were able to find them from a number of online retailers as well, including Amazon and stores like Bed, Bath, and Beyond.
Pricing puts their systems at a premium, although there isn’t much competition for comparison. The 5 series air washers start at $200 and top out at around $400, which is reasonable given what they can do. The Venta 6 series airwashers begin at $1,000, and you’ll need to shell out around $1,800 for the top of the line LW62T KUUBE XL-T.
